Big news in gear manufacturing

CNC Design has completed successfully the first CNC and drive upgrade of a Maag SH250/300 gear cutting machine using Siemens Sinumerik 840D. A totally new operating interface has been developed making set up and operation of this machine simple and easy. Digital motors and a larger spindle motor have been mounted directly to the final drive shafts of the machine eliminating backlash and improving dynamic performance considerably.

A fully integrated measuring system has been developed for set up, checking and online measuring of the manufactured gear or pinion.
