Production Machine Builder Support Textile Machine Automation
Texmaco Perkasa Engineering (TPE) is one of Indonesia's
leading industrial equipment and machinery manufacturers. The leading
company has four engineering divisions. These are the Foundry, Machine
Tools, Textile Machinery and Heavy Engineering Divisions. The company
is involved in a wide spectrum of engineering activities including
manufacturing of castings, machine tools, textile machinery, capital
goods, and automotive components. Operations are at three locations
in Indonesia - Karawang and Subang in West Java and Kaliwungu in
Centra Java.
CNC Design Indonesia has designed and commissioned various automation
systems for pre-treatment textile machinery for TPE's Process Machinery
Division. This include Stenter, L-Box and APWM (After Print Washing
Machine).
Stenter machines are used for finishing treatment of the textile
fabrics. While passing through Stenter machine the fabrics will
shrink more or less according to the required technology for different
sorts of fabrics. The machine is composed by two main motion control
system namely feed-in system and transport system. Both systems
fully utilize the state of the art features consist in Siemens drive
technology MASTERDRIVE VC and SIMODRIVE 611A i.e high accuracy speed
synchronisation and high speed communication over profibus network
controlled by Siemens SIMATIC PLC.
CNC Design use similar concept when design and commissioning the
L-Box machine for TPE. The L-Box machines represent the equipment
used for weight reduction, desizing, scouring and bleaching of textile
fabrics. L-Box machine involves 15 MASTERDRIVE VC (vector control)
drives which are synchonised each other over a Profibus network.
In APWM machines, CNC Design provide a speed synchronisation solution
by linking Siemens Micromaster standard AC inverters over Profibus
network. The motion control system is taken care by powerfull Siemens
SIMATIC S7-300 PLC. This solution makes low cost speed synchronisation
system possible, while having no step backward in term of quality
and system reliability.
