Shin Nippon Koki RB2N - Point to Point Milling Converted to CNC Milling with SINUMERIK 802D CNC System


A 12 years old Shin Nippon Koki RB2N Point to Point Milling has been converted to full CNC Vertical Milling by CNC Design Thailand. This machine is used to machine die parts for automotive industry.

This economic-retrofit solution was based on the SINUMERIK 802D CNC system. New synchronous servomotors from 1FK7 series are supplied for each axis (X,Y,Z) in conjunction with SIMODRIVE 611Ue digital servodrive.

The machine has been put back into operation.The commissioning of this project has been completed in January 2003.
