BAG MAKING/POUCH MAKING


Plastic web fed through the machine will have registration marks at equal intervals. The servo axis is to full/position the web and stop at a programmable pre-defined distance from registration mark.

The whole feed cycle of the nip roller have to synchronise with the clamping mechanism, which can be run independently or also in synchronized mode. In this case, servo axis must feed the web before the clamping mechanism is closed and do the heating, sealing and cutting process.

Depend on the sealing process, either a bag with 3 side sealing or stand up pouch can be manufactured.

Solution

  • Capable of producing bags of the 3-side seal, pillow and gusset types, as well as stand-up pouches and zip re-closeable pouches
  • Motion control system incorporates synchronized operation of 3 x 1FK6 servomotors driven by MASTERDRIVE MC: web sealing, front feed and rear feed.
  • PLC S7-315 DP coordinates the operations of MASTERDRIVE MC, Siemens MP370 OP and temperature control KS800 operations in higher control level over Profibus.
  • Printing marks synchronisation is done in MASTERDRIVE MC assuring good accuracy.
  • Machine speed: 160 shot/min for 3 side seal and up to 120 shot/min for standing pouch
