In the automotive industry or its supplying industry, Presses are required for manufacturing large parts, in particular, car body parts. Therefore, the term Large Presses is usually used to describe this application segment. The term 'large presses' is used for bulk transfer and transfer suction presses, but also for press lines and individual presses providing a large pressing force up to 70,000 kN or more. Large presses can be equipped either with a hydraulic or a mechanical main drive. The main drive can be hydraulic or mechanical. All large presses are designed to meet the individual customer requirements.
