Since the CNC simulation NC kernel is integrated
in SinuTrain, students can practice on the training PC exactly
the steps they will need to take later on real machines –
training becomes more efficient and expensive further training
is not required.
All student workstations can be networked with one another
and with the tutor's PC. Data exchange between workstations
can be handled effectively. The network function is provided
by Siemens Sinumerik DNC software "SinDNC", which
is integrated as standard in SinuTrain.
Machine tools with installed CNC control SINUMERIK can be
integrated into this SINUTRAIN network using Ethernet bus.
A training session then can be proceeded directly on the machine
using the generated part program during the classroom training
session
The main features of SinuTrain are listed

- PC-based CNC simulation training software with original
NC kernel from SINUMERIK controls 810D/840D and 840Di for
turning/milling technologies
- Including Siemens Jobshop programming software ShopMill
and Shopturn
- Graphic simulation/debugging of written programs 1:1
as on a real machine because NC kernel + tools are original
- DIN/ISO NC commands, graphic programming using a contour
calculator and cycles
- Hardcopy printouts of training programs written by students
- Connection of special Querty training keyboards via a
USB interface
- Transfer of training programs from student's to tutor's
PC and from tutor's PC to machine via SinDNC (integrated
in SinuTrain)
- Practice-based training examples for turning/milling
- Online choice of 5 European languages, other languages
are integrated in SinuTrain as special languages
