The Simple Positioning Motor For Your Application
SIMODRIVE POSMO A 75W/300W (positioning motor) is the first entry of a whole new family of a completely decentralized approach for motion control tasks. SIMODRIVE POSMO A (A stands for Actuator) is an intelligent positioning motor sitting on PROFIBUS-DP distributed network. It comprises integral converter power section, motor control, positioning control and program memory.

SIMODRIVE POSMO A powered by 24V/48V DC supply which is standard for many applications. The motor can be equipped with an optional stepped planet gearing from a gear building block.

Range of functions

• With positioning control as integral part of drive and motor, relieving control task from central controller
• Typically use to adjust the formats, end stops and valves
• Coupling to the system is simplified (Standard PROFIBUS DP Protocols, Programming using standard tools)
• Integrated measuring system (incremental encoder 1Vpp sin/cos)
• Rated speed 3300RPM for 75 unit and 3500RPM for 300W unit. Optionally can be fitted with gearbox with maximum reduction ratio i=126.
