Alpha Gearbox for Siemens Servomotors

Siemens synchronous and asynchronous servomotors can be combined with planetary gearing from Alpha Getriebebau GmbH to form compact and coaxial drive units. The gear units are flanged directly to the drive end of the motors.

When selecting the gear units, ensure that the permissible speed of the gear unit is not exceeded by the maximum speed of the motor. In the case of high operating frequencies, an allowance must be made for the jolt factor. The frictional losses of the gear unit must always be taken into account in planning. The gear units are only available in non-balanced design.
