The
planetary gearbox has been designed for direct attachment
to synchronous servomotors. The multiple tooth contacts within
the planetary gearbox shares the load. This mechanism will
provide the highest torque and stiffness for a given envelope.
Simple and efficient lubrication and a balanced system at
high speeds are the distinctive advantages of planetary gearbox
for use in applications with such high dynamic requirements
like machine tools and general production machines.
Siemens 1FT6 and 1FK7 synchronous servomotors can be fitted
