Siemens range of synchronous servomotors
have a low of moment inertia and therefore operate with high
dynamics and always produce maximum torque even at zero speed.
The 1FT6 and 1FK7 are tailored perfectly to the SIMODRIVE
611 servodrive family. The high power density of the servomotors
makes them extremely suitable for use in compact machines
1FT6 Synchronous
Servomotors
1FT6 servomotors are extremely compact synchronous
motors suitable for high performance machining task. Optimum
surface quality of workpiece can be achieved due to high rotational
accuracy while maintaining high dynamic response. 1FT6 servomotors
have rated speeds from 1200 rpm to 6000 rpm with static torques
from 1 Nm to 140 Nm.
The motors are primarily designed for operation
without external cooling and the heat is dissipated through
the motor surface. The heat generated in the stator winding
and core can be directly dissipated via the good thermal coupling
of the motor enclosure.

1FK7
Synchronous Servomotors
1FK7 servomotors are new series of Siemens
asynchronous servomotors which have extremely compact dimension.
1FK7 servomotors are available in CT (compact series) and
HD (high dynamic series). They are of 25% lower space requirement
than earlier 1FK6 series. 1FK7 HD offers extremely high dynamic
response due to low moment of inertia.
1FK7 has full mechanical compatibility with 1FK6 (shaft, flange
and connector). 1FK7 servomotors are available in 3000, 4500
and 6000 RPM rated speed with rated torque ranging from 3.5Nm
up to 48Nm. Following options are available for 1FK7: integrated
gearbox and various encoder types (incremental, absolute,
resolver).
