SINUMERIK 802C BASE LINE
The Economical CNC with Analog Interface

Siemens A&D presents the SINUMERIK 802C Base Line as the solution for reliable CNC control system for economic machine tool segment. SINUMERIK 802C Base Line was developed for operation with up to 3 analog drives and one analog spindle. The target market is that of economic turning and milling machines and for the retrofit market.

Technical Specification of SINUMERIK 802C Baseline ...

SINUMERIK 802C Base Line has been designed as operator panel controller, where as operator panel, machine control panel and digital input/output module are located all in one panel. Such extremely compact design enables simple installation and fast commissioning. As part of Siemens SINUMERIK CNC Control family, SINUMERIK 802C Base Line accommodates the requirement of ease of operation and programming by incorporating cycle based and contour-based programming.

SINUMERIK 802C is easy to order under single ordering number and will be delivered as a complete unit including all required commissioning tools, sample program, PLC templates and logbook. In addition, it is of maintenance-free since it has no batteries or fan.

Functions:

  • Up to 3 analog axes and one analog spindle (without C-axis)
  • Analog spindle through ±10 V interface
  • Turning or milling are freely selectable
  • Pre-assigned machine data
  • RS 232 C interface for data back up and DNC connection
  • 48 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs (0.5 A) expandable by a module with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs

When being integrated with with Siemens servodrive SIMODRIVE 611 Base Line and 1FK7 synchronous servomotor, SINUMERIK 802C Base Line shall provide the optimum solution for the target segment.
