1FK7 Synchronous Servomotors: Torque Range Extends to 48Nm


1FK7 motor series, a further development of the Siemens 1FK synchronous motors is particularly compact: their unit volume has been reduced by up to 25% over the comparable predecessor models. This motor achieves a very high dynamic response resulting in shorter non-productive times for the machines. The rugged, maintenance-free motor design ensures high operational reliability. 1FK7 motor series is universally suitable for all mechanical engineering applications on machine tools and production machines. This motor is available as 1FK7 CT (Compact Type) and 1FK7 HD (High Dynamic).

Currently the torque range of 1FK7 CT (Compact Type) series extends to 48Nm (stall torque at 100K) with the release of new frame size 105 (1FK7105). This extension provides a wider torque spectrum of 1FK7 motors ranging from 0,85Nm upto 48Nm with shaft height 28 upto 100.

In addition, all range of 1FK7 motors can now be ordered with compatible shaft end and flange dimension to earlier 1FT5 motor series using Z=N05 Option Code. This will enable a smooth migration to 1FK7 motors either for application on new machines or retrofitting projects since 1FT5 motors will be starting their discontinuation phase by the end of 2004.
