CNC Design, Siemens foremost motion control partner in South East Asia, is seeking a talented senior projects engineer to join their machine automation design team based in Auckland, New Zealand.
 
CNC Design and Siemens work closely with the most successful machine builders and manufacturers in SE Asia to provide the best possible automation solutions and service to meet their needs. Typical projects embrace all aspects of automation engineering from management and innovative design to generating the functional description, hardware selection, CAD drawings, PLC programming, HMI configuration, supervision, commissioning and customer training.

The successful candidate will have a University degree in Electrical or Mechatronic engineering and at least 5 years postgraduate experience in the design and application of machine automation solutions using PLC’s, servos and variable speed drives. Specialist knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC programming is an advantage.

The ability to manage and work as part of a team is essential. Senior engineers are required to lead, train and mentor less experienced team members as a major part of their role.
